Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationMark Finnane is ARC Laureate Fellow and Professor of History at Griffith University. His research in Australia and Ireland has focussed on the history of mental hospitals, prisons, punishment, policing and the criminal law. He directs the ARC-funded ‘Prosecution Project’, hosted at the Griffith Criminology Institute. Andy Kaladelfos is a historian and Research Fellow with the ARC Laureate Fellowship Project ‘Prosecution and the Criminal Trial in Australian History’ at Griffith University, and Chief Investigator on the ARC Discovery Project ‘Sexual Offences, Legal Responses and Public Perceptions’. Andy’s research examines gender, violence and the law. Dr Yorick Smaal is a Research Fellow at the ARC Centre of Excellence in Policing and Security (CEPS) at Griffith University.
