Overview

For too long in Ireland sex was considered something to be ashamed of: wrong or dirty, something only adults do-and that 'something' was furtive and secretive. Healthy conversations about sex and sexuality are essential and this landmark illustrated text sets out to banish taboos, exploring key concepts in a way that is accessible and rooted in an Irish context. Written to help you find solid footing in dealing with the new and myriad challenges faced by families and health professionals in today's world, you will find priceless insight on every page into handling your unique role in family and society.
