Thank you for your time and interest. For this book I will choose to be anonymous and name myself John Doe. Not just to maintain my privacy and safety but because I want to protect my family and friends from any kind of backlash from my crime. There are days, many days where I don't want to get out of bed and face the world. My once-lucrative career is gone and my chances of getting my career back are slim and none. I'm afraid to tell my friends about my crime because I fear they would judge me and want to stay away from me. When I do go outside, I become sadder when I see all these people who have a normal life. Yes. Life is a challenge everyday for me. Even being off parole or probation doesn't make things easier. The residual effects of my crime will follow me wherever I go for the rest of my life. I am the lowest of the low. Even murderers have more respect than me. I am a sex offender.
