He holds 2 degrees, a B.S in Business Administration from Lincoln University, where he also earn high honors as a defensive back, and a M.S in Human Services Administration. He is currently a candidate for the doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership. He is currently employed at Indian Oaks Academy as a Clinical Administrator. Indian Oaks Academy is a residential treatment facility serving and specializing in (JSO) Juvenile Sex Offense treatment of girls and boys. He provides therapy and counseling for youth from the ages of 12-21 yrs that are homeless that have criminally offended someone sexually or have been victims of sexual, physical and mental abuse at some point in their life. Tom has provided these services to this population since 1988. He started out as a counselor, and moved through the ranks of a Clinical Supervisor. Tom directly supervises a residential facility on a daily basis and oversees the daily care and therapeutic environment of a program unit that provides clinical and administrative leadership to the clinical team and to the residents that live there. He has worked in social services for 25 years now, working his way up the ladder, first as a direct care counselor and now as an executive administrator.
