Jennifer Burek Pierce is currently assistant professor in the School of Library and Information Science at the University of Iowa. She has worked in youth services both in Arlington County Public Library (Virginia) and in the Pikes Peak Library District in Colorado. Most recently, she authored a chapter on young adults' information seeking about sexual and reproductive health for Youth Information-Seeking Behavior: Theories, Models, and Issues, Vol. 2 (Chelton and Cool, eds.). She is a regular contributor to American Libraries.
