Janet Nesbitt is the daughter of the late; John C. Wall and the late Irene B. Wall. She began her Christian walk at the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist in the city of Durham, North Carolina, under the leadership of the Rev. W.E.Daye. At the age of seven years old. Overseer Nesbitt was a part of the choir, and served as a junior usher for several years. Overseer Nesbitt heard the call at age sixteen but it wasn't until the age of thirty-four under the leadership of Bishop Marian Patterson Victory In Christ Ministry Inc., that she actually accepted the call and preached her initial sermon entitled The Devil Meant It For Bad, But God Meant It For My Good Psalm 27, and received her ministers license on Sunday, November 12, 2000. She often mentions in her testimony that there came a time in her life that she had to stop running away from Christ and run to Christ. Overseer Nesbitt is the wife of Apostle Keith Nesbitt the mother of four beautiful children and the grandmother of five handsome boys and one beautiful girl. She has completed her book entitled Set Up To Be Sold Out She is the Owner & Operator of L`KAR Enterprise Desktop Publishing. She is the author of a poem entitled God Will Hear which reflected on her children when they were going through some problems of their own. She is also a gospel comedian her character Sister Watermelon has performed at The Armory, Durham Arts Council, and The Civic Center in Durham North Carolina and at churches, several birthday parties and family reunions both in and out of town. She is truly an anointed woman of God and don't mind bringing forth the true word not sugar coated. A Good Battery But A weak Connection , Cover Me , Clean Up What I Messed Up , Because of the Tricks, There Will Be No Treats and A Furnace Kind of Faith just to name a few. Overseer Nesbitt was ordained and installed as the Pastor of The Spirit of Elijah IDF Ministry Inc. on May 31, 2009 by Apostle Perry Williams of New Eva's Chapel Holy Power Church of Fayetteville, North Carolina. And on May 30, 2010, God did a quick work and she was consecrated as Overseer. Despite all of the obstacles in her life she is yet standing and declaring the works of the Lord!
