The purpose of this book is to share my understanding of service-oriented architecture. SOA is an architectural pattern in software in which application components provide services to other components. This book has three parts. The first part explains fundamental SOA principles. The second part shows how we can synergize SOA with clouds, business intelligence, mobility, Big Data, and other applications. Finally, I discuss the future of SOA.
