Overview
Devoted to separation techniques, this work describes the different stationary phases currently used which can isolate fullerenes by liquid chromatography, and the challenges of finding or developing new stationary phases. Also discussed is the extension of the separation technique to large scale preparations, enabling scientists to obtain considerable quantities of fullerenes from one chromatographic run. The use of fullerenes as the stationary phase is also described.
