By parodying mass media by conveying certain formal aspects of our contemporary society, he creates works that can be viewed as self-portraits.His works appear as dreamlike images in which fiction and reality meet, known tropes merge, meanings change, past and present merge. Time and memory always play a key role.By emphasizing the aesthetics, he seduces the viewer into a world of constant equilibrium and interval that articulates the flow of daily events.Moments are shown that only exist to underline the human drama, to clarify our existence and to find a poetic meaning in everyday life.His works sometimes exude a cold and latent violence. Sometimes unsettling beauty emerges.
