OverviewSelection of the HPLC Method in Chemical Analysis serves as a practical guide to users of high-performance liquid chromatography and provides criteria for method selection, development, and validation. High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is the most common analytical technique currently practiced in chemistry. However, the process of finding the appropriate information for a particular analytical project requires significant effort and pre-existent knowledge in the field. Further, sorting through the wealth of published data and literature takes both time and effort away from the critical aspects of HPLC method selection. For the first time, a systematic approach for sorting through the available information and reviewing critically the up-to-date progress in HPLC for selecting a specific analysis is available in a single book. Selection of the HPLC Method in Chemical Analysis is an inclusive go-to reference for HPLC method selection, development, and validation. Full Product DetailsAuthor: Serban C. His research activity was focused on various aspects of chromatography including method development for the analysis by GC/MS, HPLC, and LC/MS/MS of natural products and cigarette smoke. He has also performed research on pyrolysis of a variety of polymers and small molecules. He has written over 150 publications in peer reviewed journals, eleven books, and several chapter contributions. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Analytical Methods in Chemistry and of Frontiers in Chemistry. Victor David was a Professor and Head of the Department of Analytical Chemistry, University of Bucharest, Romania. Recently retired, he remains Emeritus Professor at the same Department. His main field of research is separation science (theory and applications in various scientific domains). He is the author of more than 200 publications, including over 150 scientific papers in peer reviewed journals and 25 books and chapters. He is member of editorial board of Biomedical Chromatography, Molecules, Journal of Essential Oil-Bearing Plants and Revue Roumaine de Chimie.
