OverviewSu He conducts a free translation of 56 selected poems from the laureate poet Li Bai carrying dreams from Tang Dynasty. Li Bai, perhaps among the most well-known Chinese classical poets, writes in natural and unrestrained verses that cannot separate romance from romanticism, while harping about the ideal place and ideal time, with wine, always. The collection is a curated selection of his well-known verses, narrative poems and some short form ones for the curious readers of the floating world. Su He is a young literati, poet and novelist from the Middleland born in the liberal arts, wrote two poetry books about the heart's labyrinth, the doubleness of freedom and the endless sea called The End of the Ends (2024) and Your Mirrors (2025). Su He also experimented in historical fictions and political satires, such as their Scorpiris Schemata series depicting the elegant and decadent pastimes of the upper echelon of the Moonlit City.
