Anne Rummer ist Juristin und Medizinethikerin. Ihr Forschungsschwerpunkt sind die rechtlichen und ethischen Fragen im Kontext von Pränataldiagnostik und Schwangerschaftsabbruch. Von 2009 bis 2012 war sie als Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin der Forschungsstelle Ethik an der Uniklinik Köln in das vom Bundesministerium für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend geförderte Projekt «Interdisziplinäre und multiprofessionelle Beratung bei Pränataldiagnostik und Schwangerschaftsabbruch» eingebunden.
