Rimm-Kaufman, PhD, is the Commonwealth Professor of Education at the University of Virginia School of Education and Human Development. She lives in Charlottesville. She and her research group at the UVA Social Development Lab (www.socialdevelopmentlab.org) conduct research on elementary and middle school classrooms with the goal of developing roadmaps for administrators and teachers making decisions for children and youth. Meena Srinivasan, a National Board Certified Teacher, is a South Asian-American edupreneur with deep expertise in the fields of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Mindfulness in Education. She is the Founding Executive Director of Transformative Educational Leadership (TEL). Prior to this role she spent five and a half years working in partnership with the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL) to implement SEL system-wide in the Oakland Unified School District. Meena has taught and led in a variety of school settings (public, private, urban, international) and holds a Clear Administrative Services Credential in the state of California. She is the creator of the SEL Every Day online courses and was featured in the Dec 2020/Jan 2021 issue of Educational Leadership Magazine on ""Mindful School Leadership."" Tracy Evian Waasdorp, PhD, M.S.Ed, is a Senior Research Scientist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and a fellow of CHOP's Violence Prevention Initiative. Dr. Waasdorp's research focuses on school-based bullying prevention and intervention, across all forms (e.g. relational aggression, cyberbullying, and bystander behaviors). She also examines school staff and parent responses to bullying, as well as school climate and connectedness.
