Seeking Our Places: Innovations in Creative Writing Studies Research, Methodologies, and Practices contends that as the field of Creative Writing Studies continues to shape its disciplinary identity within the larger discipline of Writing Studies, so too must we continue to theorize new methods and methodologies for examining creative writing as action, artifact, and socio-material phenomenon. Jon Udelson is an Associate Professor of English at Shenandoah University in Virginia. A fiction writer and academic, his scholarship has appeared in Journal of Creative Writing Studies, New Writing, Kairos, and elsewhere. Ben Ristow is an Associate Professor at Hobart and William Smith Colleges (New York). His book Craft Consciousness and Artistic Practice in Creative Writing was published by Bloomsbury in 2022.
