Overview

A lot can happen in your mind while running the entire circumference of the Earth. In high school, Chris Shoemaker resolved to do just that. 24,901.55 miles, 44 years, 4,000 hours of running, more than 100 pairs of combat boots, running shoes, and flips, 20 firkins of Gatorade, and 100,000 utterances of ""this is really stupid"" later, Chris Shoemaker accomplished his goal. During that time his brain was hard at work contemplating more than 1,000,000 discrete thoughts. John Chris on his runs all over the world, and delve deep into his hilarious take on politics, sports, self-pity, and of course, God. With wit and charm abound, Seeking God: Thoughts While Running will have you rolling on the floor laughing, all the while chipping away at the philosophical truths behind God and His great creations.
