Overview

In the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, we encounter the rich stories of Jesus that fall into the category of parables. All three gospel writers reported on the actions and parables of Jesus, leaving a treasure trove to enlighten all who study them.  While just reading the parables enhances an appreciation for them and leads to a better understanding, there is more to each of those immortal stories than is apparent on the surface. They all contain underlying messages that enlighten the curious reader and result in an even deeper appreciation of the Lord's timeless messages. Some parables contain warning messages, whole others promise hope for the believer. Without exception, they are all immortal stories to be cherished and understood in a deeper sense. This book addresses this through an interpretive approach that brings out what lies beneath the surface in Jesus' messages.
