Author InformationNick Petrov is assistant professor at St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts (Russia), Faculty of the History of World Culture. He is full member of Novgorod Society of Fanciers of Antiquities. Since 1994 he manages field researches of medieval sites at the Novgorod region. Еarlier during 7 years he taught ""Archaeology of the Iron Age"" and ""Archaeological Historiography"" at St. Petersburg State University, Historical Faculty.
