Overview

This study aims to increase the security level of the Software-Defined Network by proposing a suite of algorithms and new kinds of SDN controllers' topologies, and elaboration of the new approach to evaluate the security protection of the computer networks, alongside the proposal of four security assessment parameters to measure the reliability level of networks. All that is for the sole purpose of making SDN a safer environment for computer networks that leverage it, which facilitates the transition of classical networks' structure to the SDN structure hence, assuring the security of computer networks in general. Before explaining the need for assuring the security of SDN, it is of great importance to explain the need for SDN in the new era of technology first.
