He was one of the finest hockey players that the country has ever produced Jasmer Singh, selector of the Kenya National Hockey team at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics. Santokh Singh represented Kenya at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics, 1968 Mexico Olympics and the inaugural Barcelona Hockey World cup in 1971. A player with not only great skill, but the epic ability to play with tactical intelligence which was demonstrated by being the only player to have played in all positions, apart from being a goal keeper for the national team over the years.
