Galen is currently retired after 30 years of healthcare IT management, having had responsibilities for the electronic health record system, health insurance system, self-service web and mobile solutions, business intelligence, and technology infrastructure. In retirement, Galen served as a strategic advisor to several healthcare IT startups. When not writing and consulting, Galen is also a professional magician, specializing in close-up magic.
