Kay Louise Bowen retired from being a tutor after many years when she found a book on her computer that she never knew her mother had started and decided to embark on finishing it. Kay had never written before but soon found that she loved getting into the characters and scenes and discovered that she could write for hours at a time without realising the passing time. Secrets II: Vengeance and Revenge is her second book after publishing her debut novel, Secrets, in August 2025.
