I am a late bloomer and finally figured out what I wanted to be when I grow up. An author and illustrator. I published my 1st book in May 2013 and had First Lady Barbara Bush and President George Bush send me a personal letter on how much they enjoyed it and were going to read it to their great grand children. That one was ""The Sock Monster"". I have put out 20 books since then. Mostly children's books. What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it? ""Writers Write Calendar and Organizer"" I looked everywhere for a writers calendar that would keep me on track. When I couldn't find anything that would work I designed my own. Do you have any unusual writing habits? My husband loves old westerns. While he is watching them I write and do the illustrations for the books. When I go to the computer I do the editing and putting the illustrations in. What are you working on now? I'm currently working on ""Stars in a Jar"". It's about stars falling to the ground broken and how one little girl with help from her grandfather puts them backup in the sky because they care. Where can you and your books be found?
