Dr. Athanasios Alexiou has a BSc in Applied Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics Algorithms and Mathematical Modeling in Biology, and a two-year Postdoc Research Fellowship in Neuroinformatics Applications from the Ionian University. He is the Head of Research & Education at Funogen Research Company in Greece and AFNP Med Company in Austria, an Adjunct Professor at the University Centre for Research & Development at Chandigarh University in India, and the Department of Science and Engineering at the Novel Global Community Education Foundation (an educational platform registered in Australia). He also collaborates with international research teams (including Yerevan State University, King Abdulaziz University, the University of Sharjah and Damanhour University). Dr. Alexiou's area of research is Cross-Field, with a special focus on Computational Biomedicine. Also, it focuses on developing novel mathematical models and algorithms in neurodegenerative diseases, prognostic Bayesian tools for Alzheimer's disease and Neurodegenerative disorders, sustainable agriculture, nanotoxicity in human health, AI and ML methods, identifying molecular mechanisms of infectious diseases, cancer biomarkers, and the ethical implications of scientific research. He serves as an Associate Editor in highly reputed journals like the Frontiers in Genetics and Pharmacology in the Section of ELSI, the Frontiers in Neuroscience and Psychology Journals, as a Section Editor in the Current Alzheimer Research Bentham Science journal, etc.; he is the author of more than 250 peer-reviewed articles/chapters/books in high impact publications and 5 filled patents; he is the editor of several books in known publishing houses; he has delivered many talks and presentations in international conferences and workshops; he participates in several international funded programs; he serves as a Scientific and Program Committee Member in several conferences and as a Reviewer/Member of the Editorial Board of international journals; he is supervising from diploma to Ph.D. theses and internships' programs; he has over 20 years of mentoring and educational experience. Dr. Alexiou is a Fellow of the International Institute of Biomedical Science and is highly ranked in the Computational Biomedicine field. Saurabh Kumar Jha is working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Zoology at Kalindi College, University of Delhi, Delhi. He obtained his M.Sc.(Biotechnology) degree from VIT University, Vellore, and Ph.D. Degree in Biotechnology (Neurobiology) was awarded from Delhi Technological University (Formerly Delhi College of Engineering). His areas of interest in Stem Cell and expertise include molecular chaperone and ubiquitin E3 ligase in neurodegenerative disorders along with therapeutics action of biomolecules in aged neurons and muscles. He has published 160 papers in peer-reviewed and high impact factor International Journals such as MC, JCR, ARR, SC, JAR. JNC, JAD, BBA, APCS, GENE & JTM (h-Index 30; i10-index 85; Cumulative impact factors 1000; Citation Index is 4000) and Fifteen books chapters in Springer International publishing AG and Nova. He has also got “Commendable Research Excellence Award DTU 2018” from Delhi Technological University, Delhi. Recently, Dr. Jha has received “Best Stem Cell Researcher Award 2019” by Prof. (Dr). Michele Zocchi, University of Turin, Italy. He has also presented more than 20 papers in international symposium and proceedings. Further, He has also designed and introduced the two new courses at level of B.Tech/M.Sc./PGD in “Stem Cell Technology and Regenerative Medicine” & “Genetic Engineering” in Sharda University. Dr. Jha has excellent track record in Teaching, Research and Placement in term of B.Tech and M.Tech Biotechnology at Sharda University. Until now, he has currently guided 06 Ph.D., 04 M.Tech, 02 M.Sc. and more than 10 BS students. He has also served various committee Members of Department as well as University level. He is the life and regular member of various professional societies across the globe. Roma Pandey has done her Ph.D. from Bennett University. She holds sound academic credentials and hands-on trainings from renowned institutions like ICGEB, ICMR-NICPR, IIT, Delhi, Teva Pharmaceuticals and many more. During her 5 years of experience in academics and research institutions, she has received fellowships from prestigious institutions like Indian National Science Academy. She also received Doctoral fellowship from RIS-FITM, Ministry of Ayush. She has presented papers and posters in multiple conferences.
