OverviewSecond Thoughts is a book written and designed by Jacob Ham, based around his personal experiences with ADHD, Depression and Anxiety. It was never meant to be a book, it started as a way to vent, but he got addicted. He found it therapeutic, so he created a book, written from different angles. His debut book, Second Thoughts, combines the idea of following an impulse with intuition. He basically uses it to put some of his worst fears out in the open, including the fear of writing, which is totally ironic. This book provides an excellent window into the ongoing experiences that come alongside ADHD, depression, and anxiety. Jacob recounts some of his most vulnerable moments and allows us to experience these pivotal events alongside him-picking up insight, entertainment, and inspiration along the way. Jacob's outlook provides a fundamental challenge to the stigmas that we have come to associate with battling mental health and proves just how important relentless determination alongside the right attitude can be. The uncut and conversational style of this book gives it a sense of approachability and realness that facilitates impactful personal reflection.
