Overview

Jessie was nine years old when her mother passed away, but before her mother (Mary) took her last breaths, she gave a small chest to Jessie and entrusted her with the responsibility of keeping the family together. She explained to Jessie that there were items in the chest for her and the family that she would understand when she was older. Jessie's father was in the military and he had to return to his unit after his wife's funeral. He was saddened of the loss of his wife and now he had to find a place for his children to live. Jessie and her siblings were divided among family members and were separated for many years. As Jessie came of age as a young adult, she had a strong desire to reunite with her family. She remembered the chest her mother had given to her and when she began to examine the contents, she knew what she must do. Jessie had found the love of her life and together they started a journey searching for answers to find Jessie's brothers and sister, as well as her father that was missing while he was in the military.
