Sea of Serenity introduces more new voices and new writing emerging from the 2025 Artemesia Arts poetry competition: forty-five poems by thirty-six poets exploring a variety of subjects in a multitude of styles. This year's competition judge, Jo Bell, said judging a poetry competition is ""always a privilege"" with people trusting you ""with their vulnerabilities, their tender or terrifying moments, and with their hopes of recognition."" Congratulating all participants, she said: ""You have made this anthology a colourful and varied thing."" Artemesia Arts was formed in 2022. It exists to encourage writers to celebrate their poetry and literature in the English language. The association's annual poetry competition is launched every January. It organises poetry and literature events around its hometown in the medieval village of Treignac in south-west France, including its established poetry retreat in September.
