She also directs the master's degree programs for Roman Catholics at the Lexington Theological Seminary. Her doctorate from the University of Kentucky is in English Literature with a concentration in the Bible as literature. For the past thirty years she has taught Scripture to grade school, high school, college, and graduate students, and to adult education groups.
