OverviewFrom my books from the Translating the Hieroglyphic Vignettes series, I demonstrate how to translate the Egyptian illustrations containing Deities. I pointed out that this was how Joseph Smith translated his Book of Abraham text. And I pointed out that Joseph Smith's translation was not complete. I therefore make a more complete textual translation of the Facsimiles and other Vignettes from the Book of Breathings and maybe even the Book of the Dead papyri. I will not at this time make a translation of the papyri texts, just the Hieroglyphic Vignettes. I do not follow Joseph Smith's manner of translation, nor do I follow the pattern of the King James Version. The translation is after my manner of speech. And at this time I will not separate the text into chapters and verses, nor provide a footnoting system with my Reference Guide to the Scriptures and my Doctrinal Guide to the Scriptures. This will all be done at a later time.
