Author Information

Melbourne based Paul Kooperman is a prolific author and screenwriter. In 2006, his feature film Wil was produced and with limited independent release, won Best Picture at the Independents Film Festival in Florida, Best Director at the Rhode Island International Film Festival and received Official Selection at the Hollywood Film Festival and Cardiff Film Festival. Paul was the sole in-house writer of feature films for Stacey Testro's production company, ZTudio, in 2006, and was commissioned in early 2009 to write the bible for a 13 part children's television series by Brendan Byrne. Paul has worked as a writer for TV series Home and Away and as a Script Co-ordinator for The Wedge, Wicked Science 2 and StreetSmartz. Paul currently lectures in screenwriting at various tertiary institutions in Melbourne and offers a screenwriting assessment service for any phases of script development.
