Chris Townsend is an award-winning author, photographer and lecturer and lives in the Cairngorms. He was the first person to complete a continuous round of all the Scottish Munros and has also walked across the Scottish mountains from coast to coast 14 times. Passionate about wild land and its conservation Chris is President of the Mountaineering Council of Scotland. This is his first book for Cicerone.
