Author Information

Denise Kiernan is a journalist, author and television producer. She has written 11 titles for Scholastic's Professional Books division and has been published in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Village Voice, Discover, and Ms. Magazine. She is also the former head writer of ""Who Wants to be A Millionaire."" Joseph D'Agnese was an editor at Scholastic's math magazines for eight years. He has authored four books, and his work was twice named to the annual anthology Best American Science Writing. He has also published extensively in the popular science magazines Discover, Seed, and Wired, as well as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and many other news publications.
