Silke Fischer, studierte Wirtschaftspädagogik mit dem Nebenfach Anglistik an der Universität Mannheim. Nach abgeschlossenem Referendariat für das höhere Lehramt arbeitete sie als Doktorandin und Assistentin am Lehrstuhl für Berufsbildung der Universität Zürich. Seit 2015 ist sie Inhaberin einer Dozentur für Berufsbildung an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Zürich.
