Scholars in COVID Times documents the new and innovative forms of scholarship, community collaboration, and teaching brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. Melissa Castillo Planas is Associate Professor in theof English Department at Lehman College, CUNY. She is the author of A Mexican State of Mind. Debra A. Castillo is the Emerson Hinchliff Chair of Hispanic Studies and Professor of Comparative Literature at Cornell University. She is the author or coeditor of several books, including Centering Borders in Latin American and South Asian Contexts, South of the Future, and The Scholar as Human.
