Des Taylor: 'Scarlett Couture is my attempt to add a fun title to the comic book shelves and to introduce a strong, capable, female protagonist that comic book readers can enjoy, and where non-comic book readers can just admire the artwork. When I came up with the idea of creating this book, I wanted it to feel as if you were reading a cool, adult animated cartoon movie.'
