The author is a hospice nurse and former ICU nurse with nearly two decades of experience guiding people of all ages through these tough and unfamiliar experiences. She deeply believes in facing our mortality, and actively works to bring end-of-life conversations more into the mainstream life experience through her business, The Healing Barn. When she isn't working, she enjoys hiking in the White Mountains, beach days, and learning holistic healing modalities. Zoe is a freelance, self-taught artist and illustrator. She creates beautiful works of digital art, watercolor, and ink illustrations or portraits.
