Author Information

A former kindergarten and first grade teacher, Connie now divides her time between writing books for children and providing professional development for teachers as a consultant for an educational software company. Ever since she was a child, Connie knew that she wanted to be an author, and when she was 10 years old wrote Connie and the Statue. Sadly, this combination of Sound of Music, and Chronicles of Narnia - with an flying little girl thrown in for good measure - was never published. But the dream lived on, and 40 years later, Amazing YOU! A Celebration of Individuality was published. Connie is now the award-winning author of seven books for children, including Tilly and Torg's Easy-As-Pie chapter books and the nonfiction One Million and One series. Connie and her husband, Shaun, live in Georgia and have two beautiful daughters and a large (and spoiled) dog.
