He is a devoted husband and father, military chaplain, family historian, musician, editor, and author. Andy has lectured for the East Tennessee Historical Society, Appalachian Cultural Center (Carson-Newman University), and his books were featured at the Rose Glen Literary Festival in Sevierville, TN. He has captivated audiences at schools, libraries, churches, and book clubs throughout Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, and Louisiana.
