Overview

Santana Vega, a timid fourteen-year-old girl, has been the target of relentless bullying by a group of her classmates since sixth grade. Each day, she endures verbal taunts and physical attacks that leave her feeling small and powerless. Finally, unable to bear it any longer, she confides in her mother, Annaline. Shocked and outraged by the abuse her daughter has endured, Annaline takes action and reports it to the school officials. But their lack of response only fuels Annaline's determination to make a change. She rallies other concerned parents, and together, they form an advocacy group determined to fight for their children's safety and well-being at school.
