Tim Deegan is a veteran Hollywood marketer who began as a teenaged intern to Stanley Kubrick on ""2001: A Space Odyssey"". After his successful marketing of ""The Rocky Horror Picture Show"", he became Director of Worldwide Advertising, and later VP of Advertising for Fox, where he helped market ""Star Wars"", ""Young Frankenstein"", ""Alien"", and ""The Omen"". As an independent movie marketer his clients included Mel Brooks, Francis Ford Coppola, and Chris Blackwell's Island Pictures. He also created a successful collaboration between the United Nations and Stephen Spielberg to extend the global audience for ""ET"".
