Author Information

Jan Shima has entertained, toured, and led worship internationally. She is a recording artist, songwriter, producer, and visual artist. She has written and recorded thirty-two songs, five albums with three nominations for Hoku Awards and three for Hawaii Music Awards. Her instruments are vocals, violin, guitar, ukulele, keyboards and her music spans Jazz, Latin, Gospel and Worship genres. At 95.5 FM radio she hosted Voice of the Islands, Youth Alive, and Saturday Nights. She taught music workshops internationally and teaches currently on Oahu. When she's not busy with music she enjoys hiking trails, photographing wildlife, painting, dancing, and biking.
