This one I can definitely see as being well suited for children or younger YA readers. It does touch on more serious and darker subjects, but it just barely skims the surface of it, so nothing would be inappropriate for a younger reader. I would have loved this book if I had read it as a kid. - Nikki This book was so adorable. It was not what I was expecting... Great story. I love the idea. - Elisabeth A lovely story and a great adventure told. - Claudia Engaging and entertaining reading for teens that shows the invaluable act of overcoming prejudices and opening up to know others, especially those we perceive as different. Giving yourself the opportunity to meet and help others, can be a greater gift for those who give it than for those who receive it. - Sindy A great adventure for children. - Tanya This was a unique story! I enjoyed the look into the world from a vampire's point of view. I also enjoyed how accepting children are and how welcoming of curiosity Garlic was. This was a delight to read! - Veronica I loved the ending. Very profound. - Christine This story was adorable. It made me crack up laughing several times.
