Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationLeon Kleiner is a retired commercial and residential real estate developer from New Jersey. He was born in the city of Tarnopol, Poland just a little over a decade before the beginning World War II. After the war, the city became a part of the Ukraine and still is today. Leon's early life before and during the war is documented in his memoir, Save My Children. He miraculously survived the Holocaust and immigrated to America in 1947 where he married his wife, Halina, who is also a survivor of the Holocaust. They met in a displaced persons camp in Austria in 1945. He and his brother worked hard to save up enough money to invest in a real estate company that was benefiting from the post-war housing boom. In 1964, he moved from New York to New Jersey, where he formed a new real estate company with his brother. Their business grew and prospered over the following years. Now in his nineties, he is enjoying retirement with Halina. They are the proud parents of two daughters. They also had a son who was tragically lost to cancer in his early twenties. His daughters have given them five grandchildren and they just recently welcomed their first great grandson. Edwin Stepp has more than thirty years experience in media, marketing, and advertising. He was executive editor for the quarterly, Vision-Journal for a New World, for over fifteen years. He wrote dozens of articles about history, culture, environment, and current events for the publication. David Colacci has been an actor and a director for over thirty years, performing coast-to-coast in lead roles of plays by a variety of playwrights, from Shakespeare to Sam Shepard to Steve Martin. He has worked as a narrator for over fifteen years, during which time he has read the works of such authors as Jules Verne, Henry Adams, John Irving, Michael Chabon, and John Lescroart. He has won AudioFile Earphones Awards, earned Audie nominations, and been included in Best of the Year lists by such publications as Publishers Weekly, AudioFile magazine, and Library Journal. David was a resident actor/director with the Cleveland Play House for eight years and has been artistic director of the Hope Summer Rep Theater since 1992.
