Author Information

Gerry Duggan has become one of Marvel's most influential writers, having first made an impression at the House of Ideas with a lengthy and always surprising Deadpool run alongside his frequent writing partner, Brian Posehn. Among Duggan's solo credits are Nova, Hulk and multiple tie-ins to the Secret Wars event. He added Deadpool to the revamped roster of Uncanny Avengers and brought his unique blend of action and humor to All-New Guardians of the Galaxy, leading up to the cosmic event series Infinity Wars. Marauders and Cable established him as a vital part of the storytelling team for the Dawn of X era, a role he has cemented further by launching the blockbuster new X-Men title. Duggan's earlier collaboration with artist Phil Noto - The Infinite Horizon, a reimagining of Homer's The Odyssey in a dystopian future - earned an Eisner Award nomination for Best New Series. Patrick Zircher got his start illustrating RPG-based comics for Eclipse and 3D comics for Blackthorne during the late 1980s, and drew Now Comics' Green Hornet. He has been an artist in demand ever since. His notable Marvel credits across the decades include New Warriors, Venom- Along Came a Spider, Star Trek- Early Voyages, Iron Man- The Iron Age, Thunderbolts, Cable & Deadpool, Iron Man, Hulk, Mystery Men and Savage Avengers. Artist Kev Walker cut his teeth on the venerable British comics magazine 2000 AD, eventually moving on to the publisher's flagship character Judge Dredd and other popular series. After illustrating Annihilation- Nova, Walker teamed with writer Fred Van Lente on Marvel Zombies 3 and 4. He also drew Thunderbolts before joining Dennis ""Hopeless"" Hallum in pitting Marvel's youngest heroes against one another in the kill-or-be-killed Avengers Arena, as well as the follow-up Avengers Undercover. Walker has worked on numerous other Avengers titles, the Star Wars series Doctor Aphra and the latest volume of Dr. Strange. Greg Smallwood made his comic-book debut in 2013 as the co-creator and artist of Dark Horse's Dream Thief, which earned him a nomination for the 2014 Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award. Following his nomination, Smallwood teamed with Brian Wood on Marvel's critically acclaimed Moon Knight series.
