Dr. Dorene O'Hara is a retired physician, researcher and educator who now teaches and tutors students intending to enter college. She has an MD from Harvard Medical School, a BS in Biophysics and BA in English from the University of Connecticut (summa cum laude), and a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed alternate pathway teacher training and is Praxis certified in K-12 Education and High School and Middle School Math and Science. She currently teaches classes in essay writing, SAT, ACT and PSAT preparation, and tutors students in advanced math, science, English and US history. She resides in Northern Virginia.
