Overview

The SAT, ACT Vocabulary Made Easy is a series of books for grades 7-12 either for home use or teacher use. The series comes with over 3,000 words, dictionary definitions of those words, parts of speech, meanings of Greek and Latin root words, as well as prefixes ad suffixes. All in an easy format with practice of word usage. In addition, exercises on recognition of root words and prefixes are included help students to figure out the meanings of unfamiliar words. Teachers may Xerox individual lessons to give to students and the answers are included in the back of the book. Home school students may check their results as well. Because the books cover six grade levels, words and the meanings of Greek and Latin words are repeated every few years to reinforce earlier learning.
