I am constantly looking for new titles that we can read together and I believe I have struck gold with this one! Sascha Martin's Rocket-Ship is an adorable story about an imaginative student that takes his class (teachers and all) on a ride they won't soon forget. The story is comical and engaging, and the artwork does an amazing job at bringing it all to life. I also want to highlight the way the story was written as I found this to be a huge plus for a mom like me. It is sometimes difficult for a young child to sit through a story no matter how geared-towards-their-age-group it is. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the book rhymed throughout (we love rhymes!) and I must add that they are very well done! This book does a great job at turning an already fun story into one that you can practically sing together (which does wonders with a toddler!!). Overall I could easily see this book becoming a household favorite! - Thomai Dion, author of Think-a-Lot Tots. Delightful, rhyming story that keeps your fingers turning the pages. John Nichol and Manuela Pentangelo are a synchronized pair! I read this story again and again. - E.C Kraeft, author of White Castle (Elf Kingdoms #1) I love books, I love kids and I love rockets! So I was thrilled to see all three combined in John Arthur Nichol's new Sascha Martin series of adventures for children. Sascha Martin's Rocket Ship is the first in the series and will launch its readers into an adventure that should fan the flames of curiosity for science in almost any girl or boy. The story is 'poetry in motion' for rocket ships! - Samantha Ridgway, scientist, mother, and record-breaking Australian rocketeer. """Sascha Martin is so very very very funny... That's why I love this book so so much."" Amazon reviewer ""Both my 6 year old and 4 year old love it."" Amazon reviewer ""Many clever rhymes throughout this book to make parents chuckle while kids are guffawing at the havoc the rocket wreaks at the school."" Sascha Martins Rocket-Ship blends picture-book rhyming text with graphic-novel images, fast-moving plot and great characters, both teachers and students."" He has always written, but along the way has earned his living as a public servant, salesman, teacher, and as a proprietor of women's hairstyle websites ... now there's another story! He now works full time at Australia Post, and gets up really early in the morning! In 2015 he teamed up with Italian illustrator Manuela Pentangelo to develop the Sascha Martin picture book series. Sascha Martin's Rocket-Ship is the first to launch, and Sascha Martin's Time Machine will materialise in 2017. Keep an eye out after that for suberballs, gobbly goo, zombies, aliens, dinosaurs, reindeer clones, zappy girls and sooty witches! Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
