Overview

Sariah Gunderson is a runaway bride, having stolen a spaceship from the colony moon of Ganymede. But she is not merely running away from something. She is also running towards something, because she has also stolen a restricted library database, and she means to have answers, one way or the other. Why are she and her people out here? What drove them to inhabit such a cold and remote moon of Jupiter? What drove them away from Earth? In this story-within-a-story, Sariah learns the bizarre history which forced her people from Earth to the outer solar system. It all came down to a precocious boy named Iousef Irfan, who dared to stand up to religious indoctrination.
