Santorini Lights

Overview

Santorini Lights is a fast-paced ancient alien quest story. The protagonist is Max Clydeberger, a gifted coder at a powerful tech giant called Sentient. Max created Carlos, an AI tool so powerful he envisions it solving humanity's toughest problems. Max's success and very existence is put in peril when he rashly discloses that Carlos has exercised free will. The disclosure rattles markets and enrages Max's boss, tech titan Thor Styrke. Thor sends Max on a forced vacation to Santorini to get him away from the media and Carlos. Bored and isolated on the island, Max surreptitiously uses Carlos to translate four ancient tablets from the Minoan archeological site, Akrotiri. The translation reveals that an alien made contact with the Minoans and even shared advanced technology to shepherd the course of human history. Back on US soil, the revelation of the translation puts Max directly at odds with Thor and attracts the interest of the CIA. To reclaim his own life, Max must embark on a journey to set everything right and reveal the truth to the world.
