Overview

Caio is a ten-year-old boy living in Guyana in South America. He loves soccer, his older brother Ricardo, and exploring the rainforest near where he lives. But most of all he loves his favorite animal: the two-toed sloth. Sandy is just such a two-toed sloth, living in the forest near Caio. She's been separated from her family, and sad, scared, and alone. But when she meets Caio, she begins to feel hopeful.
