Overview

Hired by John Sanderson to catch cattle rustlers-bounty hunters Logan Kincaid and Gavin Sloan-get sidetracked. They planned to hunt Bailey Hogg and his gang together, but that changed when they arrived at Sanderson's Hill Ranch. As soon as Logan arrived at the ranch, a special relationship developed between her, John, and his wife Catherine-that is, family. She finds she is loved and trusted by them. So much so that John teaches her to run Sanderson's Hill-leaving her in charge of the entire ranch. During this time, Logan becomes fiercely loyal to the Sandersons, as any daughter would. John and Catherine adopt her and make her the heir to the ranch. But before that, Logan has to deal with nearly losing Gavin to Bailey Hogg and his gang, an incident that almost gets her killed. After Gavin convalesces, they split up, leaving Logan in limbo. Will he come back to her? He does, and he's a US Territorial Marshal. They marry and have a family, but along the way, Logan and Gavin deal with the passing of John. And Logan gets drawn into a confrontation with an old foe she thought had been hanged a long time ago. An event that leads Logan to a discovery that completely alters her life.
